Show Redmen Capture First State B Hard Ball Win Cedar City Redmen posted a lop-sided 39 to 1 win over Enterprise En-terprise Thursday evening on the new Cedar City baseball diamond to Initiate the 1961 season for the defending state CLASS B champions. It was a walk away as the more experienced Cedar Redmen cew took off in the first inning of play with 13 runs on nine hits including back to back home runs by Donnie Roberts and Neil Roberts. The Redmen posted the 39 runs on 25 hits included the two home runs, seven triples, seven doubles and nine singles, in addition ad-dition 1.0 a number of errors by the Enterprise Wolves. Steve Cahoon was the winning pitcher, but Kent Smith and Ronnie Ron-nie Anderson also saw action. Enterprise got one run in the fifth Inning off Kent Smith; however, how-ever, they collected only one hit, that off Anderson in the fourth frame. Every member of the Redmen squad saw considerable action. Cahoon, the starter for the Red-men, Red-men, was on the mound for the first four innings. He collected nine strikeouts.
