Scout Recognition Extended In Court oi Honor Two Eagle Scout awards, two Life Scout badges, three Star and la host of second and first class scout awards In addition to 200 merit badges were presented at the Court of Honor held Sunday-evening Sunday-evening by the Cedar Breaks District, Dis-trict, Boy Scouts of America. In addition several special presentations pre-sentations were made during the evening under the direction cf advancement chairmen Dr. Paul Lunt and Andrew Olds. One of the hihliht of the I evening was the presentation given giv-en by the Cedar Breaks district to Joseph Barney, field scout executive, ex-ecutive, in recognition for his fine work. On hand for the presentation was Mrs. Barney and the presentation pre-sentation was made by Albert Albertson, vice president, Utah National Parks Council. Prompting the presentation was the word received by the Utah National Parks Council of the selection of Barney as the "Outstanding "Out-standing executive" in the entire council by his follow executives this past year. Another special presentation was a Certificate of Appreciation given by the district to Antone H. Lambert, Cedar City Chief of Police, for his contribution to the scouting program through his office of-fice and as a merit badge counselor. coun-selor. Recipient of the Eagle awards, the highest attainment in scouting, scout-ing, were Scouter Elvin Webster and S'-out Dennis Rowley. An impressive ceremony for the presentation pre-sentation was given under the di'tinn of Barney. r'pients of the Star nwar were Paul Nelson. Wendell Rrd-shaw, Rrd-shaw, scouts, and John Rowley, scoutmaster of Troop 335. sponsored spon-sored by the Cedar Fourth Ward.
