Show PARAGONAH NEWS NOTES Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux Holiday celebrations scheduled for Paragonah will make a full vek end of activities. On Saturday Sat-urday evening at 7 o'clock, the Primary organization will sponsor spon-sor a program in the Ward Chapel Cha-pel to commemorate the birth and life of Jesus. Sunday morning morn-ing tlie Junior and Senior Sunday Sun-day schools will meet together for special programs. On Monday evening the town E will sponsor a Christmas par,y to ! held at the chapel and arrangements ar-rangements are being made to have Santa Claus present, at that time to distribute goodies to all the children. This activity will commence at 7:30. Primary, MIA and Relief Society Socie-ty meetings will not be held next week, but will resume after the holidays. Members of the T. A. Robinson family traveled to St. George Friday to attend the funeral service ser-vice for Mrs. Robinson's sister, Mrs. Annie Hall. Included In the group were Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, Robin-son, Ada Robinson, Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux and Mrs. Miriam Anderson. An-derson. Mrs. Leta Evans of Pa rowan ro-wan and Mrs. Gertrude Barton of Cedar City Joined them as did Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Harris of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Emma-line Emma-line Peterson of Fillmore. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Galway were overnight visitors at the Robinson home Thursday on their way from Salt Lake City to St. George for the funeral . Mrs. Peterson accompanied the Gal-ways Gal-ways and was a guest at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Harris spent some time with Norman's mother in Parowan before returning to the city on Saturday. Recent visitors at the Wilson Lund home were Mr. and Mrs. James Maxwell and daughter, Helen, of Glendale, and Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell of Toquer-ville. Toquer-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Evans left for Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Mr. Evans was taking a truck and his wife was going with Mr. and Mrs. Alma Evans of Pa-rowan. Pa-rowan. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson have received word of the birth of another great-grandchild. A boy wav born Dec. 15, to Antone and Connie Robinson of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Nellie Dalton left for Salt Lake City Tuesday of last week and will visit there with her son ar.d daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Dalton until after the holidays. J. B. Jones was home from Pro-vo Pro-vo to sperm the week end with his folks, th Blaine Joneses. Orval Lamoreaux of St. George arrived here Monday of last week to visit with the Chester Robinsons Robin-sons for a couple of days. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Conder and their two youngest children of Magna were in town recently to spend a week end with Lu-cilo's Lu-cilo's teople, the Gilbert Robinsons. Robin-sons. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Robb of Cedar Ce-dar City are staying here for a time with Bert's mother, Mrs. Clara Robb. The large crowd at the D. U. P. meeting on Thursday of last week enjoyed a fine time together. togeth-er. Festive decorations, a tasty lunch and exchange of gifts in addition to the usual activities, made an Interesting afternoon. Mr.' and Mrs. Joseph E. Barton entertained at their home Saturday Satur-day in honor of Helen's sister, Mrs. Doris Williams of Cedar City, who celebrated her birthday birth-day on that day. Amasa Stones are rejoincing over the arrival of a new grandson born on Monday Mon-day of last week at the Iron Co. Hospital. Parents are Alan and : Kathleen Bess of Parowan and this is their second son. Young , Danny visited here with grandpa '. and grandma Stones while the mother was in the hospital. Mrs. Gwen Jones traveled to ' St. George to spend the week ; end with her parents, Mr. and . Mrs. Marion Englestead. |
