Freshman Thunderblrd renter Ron Mnyne, Salt Lake City, became the first CSU player play-er in history to make the dream team. College of Southern Utah Athletic Ath-letic Director Bruce Osborne received re-ceived word of the selection from Houston, Texas. Osborne indicated indicat-ed that Mayne played nearly full game time during the entire 9-game 9-game season just completed by the Thunderblrds. He played both offensive and defensive positions. po-sitions. Mayne Is a major in physical education and plans to enter coaching. He is a graduate of Olympus High School In Salt Lake City, rn 19C1, where he played all-region and all-state ball as a senior. He also wrestled on the Olympus squad. From an athletic family, Ron's father, Kenny, was all-conference wrestler for the University of Utah, who also wrestled as a professional. pro-fessional.
