Show Ragtime Bowling Tournament During Holidays The Iron County Bowling Association As-sociation will sponsor the third annual Ragtime Holiday Classic at the Cedar Bowling Lnes Dec. 22 through January 1, inclusive, it was announced today by Byron Anderson, secretary. In addition to trophies for the high scratch efforts, over $500 in cash prizes will be awarded, based on handicaps, and a special prize has also been offered a free vacation to Las Vegas, Nev., for three days and two nights for two persons. This prize will be awarded to the bowler participating in the tournament who rolls the most pins over his average in any one game in tournament competition. The tournament includes singles, sin-gles, doubles, and team events plus an all-event section, which is a combination of games rolled in the other three by individuals. The tournament, in its third year, is sanctioned by the American Ameri-can Bowling Congress. Teams will be composed of five men and a guaranteed first prize of $125 has been made by the . ICBA. Guarantee is $80 for first place money In the doubles with $5Q in the singles and $30 in the all-events. Prize money in the all-events will be awarded on scratch scores while it will be on handicap scores on the other three events.
