Show Helen Ward to Marry Stuart Poelman At a recent announcement luncheon, Mr. and Mrs. Rex C, Ward told of tie encasement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Miss Helen Ward, and Stuart L. Poelman. of Salt LaVe City. A clipping of the an nouncement, as it appeared in the Deseret News, came to us; from the future bride's parents. Mrs. Ward was hostess at the luncheon. The parents of the future bridegroom bride-groom are Mr. and Mrs. Hendrik Poelman, also of Salt Lake City. The announcement luncheon was held in the Sky Room at Hotel Utah. The luncheon' theme, "A Little Lit-tle Bird Told Me" was carried out with a bird In a gold cage cen- tering the table, with streamers extending to small cards at the place settings. The cards were inscribed with the nuptial news. The cerormny will take place' Dec. 21 at the Logan Temple. Following, Mrs. poelman will be hostess at a breal - the couple at the Blueb .- " Dec. L'6 a reception v. HI l.e held at Bonneville Stake House. Attending the bride will be Miss Elian Jeanne Adams, Miss Sharon Pardini. Mrs. Floyd Jack- son Millet, Mrs. Donald B. Wag-! staff. Jr., and Miss Marva Poel-, man, sister of the bridegroom.! Junior bridesmaids will be Miss Jill Ward, Miss Dianne Ward, Miss Brenda Jill Feltch and Miss He bora h Gay Poelman. Standing as best man will be Thomas G. Pike. Ronald E. Poelman Poel-man and B. Lloyd Poelman, the brothers of the bridegroom; Douglas Doug-las Robbins, Hoyt W. Erewster, John B. Castleton. RihH f Christensen and I. Melvln Ward, will usher. Junior ushers will be Mark Feltch and Clark Ward. Miss Ward Is a graduate of University of Utah, where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega and Air Force Sponsor Corps. She was also chosen Sigma Sig-ma PI Orchid Queen. Mr. Poelman currently is attending at-tending the U. of U. college of Law. He is affiliated with Sigma Sig-ma Chi and Phi Delta Phi and Is serving on the Union Board. He has filled an LPS mission to the Netherlands, Following their marriage the couple will make their home In Salt Lake City. |
