Show Mrs. Bette Middleton Leads Women Bowlers Bette Middleton of the Cedar Belles Bowling League posted the high game of the week for wo-men wo-men bowlers when she rolled a 217. For top series it was Donna Cooley of the Thursday morning morn-ing scratch with a 570. Individual league highs for the week were as follows: Cedar Belles: Mrs. Middleton's high game of 217 gave way in series to Lillian Hazel, who had a 516 for high honors. Jackson Cleaners took both ends of the team highs with a 825 game and a 2371 series. Thursday Scratch: High game honors was a tie between Mrs. Cooley and Pat Rollo each witli 196 games. Mrs. Cooley's 570 series held all the way, however. Team honors went to No. 7 com-!osed com-!osed of Bonnie Leigh, Lura1 Stapley and Tillie Biederman. They had a 489 game and a 1430 series. , Striettes: Marie Memmott with a 204 had the high game and Nyna Walker took series with a 484. Thorley Ford was top team of the week with a 753 game and a 2219 series. Alley Kats: High series were the order in this league. Leading the way was Tana Corlett with a 538. That was followed bv a 523 by Ruth Seeemiller: a 531 hv Ft. I fe Marler and a 534 by Lillie Hazel. High game went to Evelyn Eve-lyn Carr with a 212. In team efforts ef-forts KSUB posted the top game of 820 and a 2268 was high series for Kolob. |
