Show NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Mrs. Norma Christensen We are happy to have a new family move into town. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Woodland and four youngsters of Beryl have moved into the old Warren Piatt home. The Woodland family have been members of the New Castle W ard for the past several months while living in Beryl. Mrs. Mary Raines and four children from Milford have been visiting at the Robert Piatt home and also the Warren Piatt home for the past week. Mary's hus band. Albert, came the latter part of the week. Also visiting at the Piatt homes were Mrs. Roberta Clark and daughter Bonnie Bon-nie of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Baldwin of Alton were visitors over the weekend at the home of their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Sorenscn. Susan Thomas of Enterprise visited in town a few days this week at the home of her cousin, Becky Christensen. Susan's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Thomas, came and got her and visited at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Alono Christensen. About the happiest youngsters in town are the little folks who started kindergarten this summer. sum-mer. They are Lorraine Hart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hart; Lynn Charles Hart, son of Charles and Shirley Hart; Lee Hulet, son of Norman and Nita Rae Hulet; Pamela Hulet, daughter daugh-ter of Darwin and ReVoe Hulet, and Bryon Hulet, son of Clifton and Ramona Hulet. The Gary Woodlands also have a daughter, Ranae, attending. Mrs. Leda Jol-ley Jol-ley is their teacher. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet this week were their daughters, Mrs. Minne Dalley of Summit, Mrs. Leone Rasmussen of Parowan, and Mrs. Maude Strait of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and five children of Redding, Calif., were visitors this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Hart. Mrs. Vivian Knell visited in Spanish Fork over the weekend with her father, W. D. Wide. Kathy Knell is attending Girls' state in Logan this Week. David Storting of Leeds visited at the home of his daughter, Katherine Christensen, Monday. Uvada Stake MIA girls' camp was held this week at Pine Valley. Val-ley. Those attending from here were Marsha Harrison, Sidney Tullis. Gloria and LaNita Jolley, Mickie Applcgate from Parowan, and Mary Neilson of Washington. Mrs. Belle Hulet and Mrs. Iva Harrison went up with the girls as their leaders. Mr. and Mrs. Trusten Hart and two daughters visited Navajo Lake this week with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Neilson. Visiting at the Clifton Hulet home this week was Ramona's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prlsbey of New HarmT.y. Mrs. Iva Harrison Just returned return-ed tills week from a trip to Seattle, Se-attle, Washington, to the World's Fair. She went with her father and brother, Ashby and Boyd Pace of New Harmony. |
