Show Georgia Jean Rowley Becomes Temple Bride ! In a double ring wedding ceremony cere-mony wl'.U'Ji took place Saturday, Juno 23 in the St. George LIS temple Miss Georgia Joan How-ley How-ley and Kenneth Elmer n'ltriflje. popular young people of Paro-wan, Paro-wan, were united in marriage. Temple President Harold Snow officiated In the len'ni pnv in the presence- of the immediate members of both families. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Rowley and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. ami Mrs. Elmer Bettridge, all of I'ar-owan. I'ar-owan. That same evening the newly-married newly-married couple were honored at a wedding reception in the Par-owan Par-owan First-Second Ward church where the bride greeted guests in a white brocaded wedding p-wn. Her wedding veil of wh!i.- net was caught to a pearled crown and she carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Attendants in the receiving line were Mrs. Stephen T. Dickson, Miss Linda Hansen, Miss Faye Nate, Miss Mary Ann Bettridge, Miss Gay Rowley and Miss Kath- :erine Rowley, attired in pale blue sheath dresses, blue net hats adorned with white flowers: , white gloves and shoes and car-lryin' car-lryin' bouquets f blue and white mums. Miss KlU.!ct!i Houston j ton was flower girl. ! Standing as best man for the j bridegroom was his brother Ron-, lit Rettridge, and ushers were Dale Bettridge and Reldon Math-, eson. Following the reception the newlweds spent a two-day hon-eymxn hon-eymxn at Grand Canyon and upon their return they moved into an apartment in Cedar City where Mr. IVttrtdge is employed by the American Oil Co. Both are graduates of the Par-owan Par-owan High School and the bride has attended Utah State University Univer-sity for the past year. |
