Show Missionary Farewell Will Honor Kenneth Jorgensen To Mr. and Mrs. R. Taylor Miller Mil-ler last week came an announcement announce-ment of a missionary testimonial testimon-ial for K'lder Kenneth Jorgensen Orton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alton B. (Pat Orton. who has been called to serve for the next two and one-half years in the Swiss Mission of the LDS Church. Alton is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Don Ort-.n, and a former resident of Parowan and Mrs. Orton Clarissa Clar-issa Jorgensen of Orderville. and well known in this community. The Testimonial was held Sunday, Sun-day, June 21 in the Bennion Ward chapel in Salt Lake Valley where the Ortons reside. Elton is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Orton to he called to serve the LDS Church in the mission mis-sion field, as their oldest son. Kenneth J. Orton, served In the Northern Far East Mission for two and one-half years beginning begin-ning his mission in June, 1958. and represented the same ward. Other members of the Orton I family are Terrv. Marv Ellen Carril Ann, Patricia and Janeice. Alton is a brother of Don B. Oi-ton. Oi-ton. Parowan, and Mrs. Herbert White of Summit. S. since August, 19fi0. He has lived with the Ortons and has attended the Granger High School where he is studying, among other things, photography, athletics, music and driver-education. He states "I enjoy seeing an, learning the different ways ( of acting, the culture, and a different dif-ferent religion."
