Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Cora Murie Miss Anna Smith, who has , completed her studles-at Brigham Young University, has returned home and accepted employment in Cedar City. Gary Turner accompanied ac-companied her to Enoch to visit with the Smith family over the week end, returning to school in Salt Lake City the first of the week. Bishop Stanley Smith, who has been working in Bountiful for the past few weeks, is moving to that city. Bishop and Mrs. Smith will be Joined by their daughter, Grace Marie, at the close of school. A baby girl was born in the Iron County hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Budd Nelson. It is their first daughter after having three sons. Mr. and Mrs. John Croft and family of Orderville spent Sunday Sun-day vlsitinff with Mrs. Croft's sister, Mrs. Elvin Murie, and family. Mrs. Mabel Winters of Devil's Slide, Utah, Is visiting here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Budd Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. David Murie received re-ceived word this week that their grandson, Gary Anderson, was in the Holy Cross hospital in Salt Lake City suffering from burns which he received when his clothing caught fire as he was burning trash. The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Anderson, An-derson, is reported to be improving improv-ing satisfactorily. Sarah and Mary Ward of Paro-wan Paro-wan visited here with their sister, sis-ter, Mrs. George Halterman, Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson of Cowley, Wyo., visited 'at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Halterman this week. Mrs. Louise Wilcken of Clearfield Clear-field Is visiting here with her brother, Dee Wilckon. and her sister, Mrs. Dick Nelson, and their families. |
