Show HAPPENINGS IN NEWCASTLE Mrs. Mildred Tullls The Relief Society held its annual an-nual party last Tuesday in honor of the organization of the Relief Society. A fine program, games and lunch were enjoyed by those present. Little Gene Forsyth fell last week while playing on the school grounds and suffered a broken arm. Leo Knell took his mother, Mrs. Amy Page Knell, to Farmingtonl last week to spend a few months with her sister, Mrs. Golda Smith. Mrs. Ida TuUis and Scott Tul-lis Tul-lis returned home last week after af-ter spending the past two months in Eureka, Utah. Mrs. VeRue Sandstrom brought them home and visited for a few days. Mrs. Ashby Pace of New Har- mony is here to stay awhile with; her daughter, Mrs. Albert Harrison. Harri-son. Mrs. Pace is recovering from a recent operation. Mrs. Don Applcgate returned home Sunday from the hospital hospi-tal with her new baby daughter. daugh-ter. People from our community who attended the basketball tournament tour-nament in Provo were Karolyn Knell, Dorothy Ward, Lydia Harrison, Har-rison, Dorothy Heffner, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Heffner and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hairison. The officers and teachers of our MIA put on a very fine demonstration dem-onstration in the stake M. I. A-Leadership A-Leadership Meeting in Panaca Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Calne Christen-sen Christen-sen and Mrs. Gordon Knell spent Uvo days In California last week on business. |
