Show Prizes Secured for Jr. Talent Show Arrangements for prizes for the Fifth Annual Junior Amateur Talent Show sponsored by the JKiwanis Club of Cedar City have Sheen completed during the past week by Sam Gentry, committeeman. committee-man. These arrangements have been inade as final plans for the show, to be held at the Public School Auditorium on Thursday, April 14, near completion. In addition to the prizes arrangements for auditions to be held on Saturday, April 2, have beet yet and the last of contributors has been announced. an-nounced. In the upper bracket, age 14 through 17 vears, inclusive, Wool-worth's Wool-worth's will offer the first prize .and Clove Electric the second. Cn the 8 through 13 year age Kroup first prize will be donated ry Lee Empey with Dix Tire Shop to award the second place vrize- In the younger age group ip to and including 7 years, "Milne Truck Line will give the first prize and Sam Gentry, milk distributor, will award the second place 7rize. Tickets for the show are also available at this time. Admission prices have been set at 50c for adults and 35c for children 12 years old and under. This show is staged annually, it was pointed out, to help encourage en-courage and develop talent among our young people. |
