Show 1 Mary Janice Simkins To Wed In SL Temple Rites Announcement has been made of the approaching marriage of Miss Mary Janice Simkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ver-gene Ver-gene Simkins of Cedar City. Miss Simkins will exchange marriage vows in April with Richard Kenneth Ken-neth Milne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Milne of Salt Lake City. The marriage will be performed perform-ed in the Salt Lake L D S temple, tem-ple, with a wedding breakfast slated to follow at the Doll House. A reception will honor the couple cou-ple on the same evening at the McKay Ward. Matron of honor will be Mrs. Grant Furner, while bridesmaids will be Miss Nancy Milne and Miss Jeanne Simkins. Serving the bridegroom as best man will be Bill Groomer, with ushers being Rodney Bradshaw, Grant Furner, Ralph Hale and Boyd Pexton. Miss Simkins is a graduate of the Cedar City High School ,and a former students of the University Univer-sity of Utah where she was a member of the ROTC Sponsor Corps and the Orchesis dance organization. or-ganization. Mr. Milne is a graduate of the University of Utah in physical education ed-ucation and at the present time is coach at Hillside Junior High School. He Is a former member of the Salt Lake Bees baseball club. The couple plan to make their home in Salt Lake Oity. |
