Show Medical Forum PlaniiGd, Subjects Chosen A medical forum in the form of a short course at the College of Southern Utah has been planned plan-ned for February and March of he coming year, according to Wallace D. Sjoblcim, County agri- u.Mural agent. The short course is being held under the cooperation cooper-ation of the Extension Service, College of Southern Utah, South-ern South-ern Utah Medical Association, and the Health and Sanitation Committee of the Cedar City Coordinating Council. A series of four meetings with the following dates and subjects have been chosen according to the cooperating committees. Thursday, Feb. 2, Polio. Wednesday, Feb. 13, Heart Ailment. Ail-ment. Wednesday, Feb. 29, Stomach Ulcers. Wednesday, March 7, Cancer. These meetings will be held in the new C S U auditorium, with a panel of doctors from the medical profession, discussing questions and answers on the various subjects. Plans are to run the subject titles in the Iron County Record Rec-ord and other newspapers' of this area at least two weeks before each meeting giving people an opportunity to submit questions to the Iron County Piecord on each subject up until one week before It is to be discussed. Doctors Doc-tors will then have the opportunity opportu-nity to select the questions which will provide as complete and rounded a discussion as possible on each item. Series similar to this have been very popular in Salt Lake City for the past three years. Similar forums were held last year in Logan, Lo-gan, Provo and Richfield, where large numbers come out to hear the latest information on medical subjects of current interest.
