Show OES Discusses Plans For Pending January Activities Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star, met for its regularly regular-ly slated meeting Monday evening, eve-ning, Dec. 26, at the Masonic temple, with Mrs. Clayton Lewis, worthy matron, and Frank Anderson, An-derson, worthy patron, presiding. presid-ing. During the business meeting preliminary .plans were discussed discuss-ed concerning the annua.1 OES card party to be held Feb. 11. Arrangements Ar-rangements were also made to re ceive the Grand Lecturer. Mrs. Nellie Leander of Provo, for her yearly visitation on Jan. 23. A festive mood entered the chapter room when birthday greetings and gifts were extend-rd extend-rd to the worthy matron who celebrated her birthday on that evening. At the conclusion of the meeting, meet-ing, officers, members and guests adjourned to the recreation room for delicious refreshments served by Mrs. Clayton Lewis, Mrs. Harlan Har-lan Durand and Mrs. Frank An-1 An-1 derson. |
