Show Poultrymen, Dairy Farmers Told Of Pacific Convention Utah's poultry and dairy farmers farm-ers will have an opportunity to attend the Pacific Dairy and Poultry Association convention right here in their own front yard next week. The convention is scheduled for the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City, March 17, 18 and 19 and all Utah farm people are invited and urged to attend. Ezra Taft Benson, secretary of agriculture, will be one of the many nationally prominent speakers. The latest developments develop-ments in both the poultry and dairy industries will be outlined at the convention. Secretary Benson Ben-son will make his address at the noon meeting Saturday, Mar. 10. Cliff D. Carpenter, president of the Institute of American Poultry Industries; Chester Housh, president pres-ident of the National Turkey Federation; Merrill Warnick, president of the American Dairy Association; Russell Fifer, executive execu-tive secretary of the American Butter Institute are just a few of the outstanding farm leaders who will speak at the convention. President Gossner ays: "This is a wonderful opportunity for the farmers of Utah and we hope that a large delegation will turn out for the meetings and take advantage of this chance to get the newest ideas in both the dairy and poultry industries. It's going to be'a wonderful convention." |
