Show Chere Amies Conduct Programs Of Particular Interest A most interesting meeting for the Chere Amies Club was held at the home of Mrs. Hilda Parry when Mrs. Glen Wahlquist was asked to be present and show her slides and souvenirs of her trip to Iran. Special guests were Mrs. Helen Cutler, Mrs. Ella Bet-tridge Bet-tridge and Caddie Leigh. Another recent meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Ar-villa Ar-villa Day with Mrs. Ruth Parry in charge of the program. She had LeJune Vogge Leishman give a report and show her slides and movies of her trip to Europe with the B Y U last summer. Guests at this event were Mrs. Wilford Day, Mrs. Kay Chamberlain Chamber-lain and Mrs. Thelma Higbee. Thursday night the group met at the home of Mrs. Clara Knell. Mrs. Erma Stephenson was in charge of the evening's entertainment, entertain-ment, and she ashed a group of students from C S U speech department de-partment to be present and give a selection of readings and a short play. Those presenting this special program were Earlene Steele, Evva Joan Pryor, Clark Ronnow and Stan Ivie. Delicious refreshments were served to the members and one guest of the club, Mrs. Reta Anderson. |
