Beaver rolled to a 6 to 0 lead in the opening minutes with the Rams barely catching up at the end of the period which closed with the two teams tied at 15-all. Beaver went out in lead again in the second quarter, but the home team rallied to take a 30 to 27 lead at half-time. Although the Beavers came- up to tie the score twice in the last half, the Rams managed to lead at the end of the third quarter, 40 to 36, and maintain that margin mar-gin through the final quarter. Blackner of Beaver led the scoring scor-ing with 18 points with Eyre of that team getting 15, and ail othe other members of that team getting get-ting Into the scoring column. Don Stubbs led the Ram scoring with 16, followed by Clark with 10. ' Gurr with 8 and Mitchell with 7. Bentley, who usually scores hea vily for the Rams, collected three fouls In the first few minutes of play, and lost his effectiveness. He ended the game with four fouls and Gurr also had four, along with Hutchings of Beaver. This game had no bearing on the division championship as Coach Bruce Decker's team had that wrapped up last week. The Rams play Dixie at Fillmore Saturday Sat-urday night for the Region Six championship, and then leave for Provo Tuesday for the Class B tourney. In the other game in the Millard Mil-lard Division Friday night, Millard Mil-lard handed the Milford Tigers their eighth straight league loss, and thus put the Eagles In a tie with Delta for second place in the final standings. In the warmup game the Parowan Paro-wan B team avenged its loss to the Beaver B squad at Beaver last month by taking a 49 to 38 win over the visitors.
