Show CLUB AMD PARTY MUTES MRS. THEROL McARTHUR CLUB PARTY HILITES Mrs. Virginia Leonard was honored at a birthday morning party at the home of Mrs. Helen Mathews Monday. She was presented pre-sented with a lovely gift, and shared a birthday cake with Mrs. Grace Heap, Mrs. Dorothy Urie, Mrs. Betty Randall, Mrs. Harriet Burgess and Mrs. Elva Yergen-sen. Yergen-sen. Mrs. Betty Hunter was hostess to the members of her bridge club at her home Tuesday night. Two special guests were invited, Mrs. LaRue Higbee and Mrs. Pat Nelson. Following bridge refreshments refresh-ments were served and prizes awarded to Mrs. Winona Cowan, Mrs. Shirley Cowan and Mrs. Jean Lamoreaux. Mrs. Hazel Urie entertained the members of her club at her home Monday evening. Those present to enjoy a few hours of sewing, visiting and tasty refreshments were Mrs. Deane Chamberlain, iMrs. Mina Orton, Mrs. Mlda Os-I Os-I borne, Mrs. Vera Hirschi, Mrs. LaVon Harrison, Mrs. Irene Was-den, Was-den, Mrs. Aleene Osborne, Mrs. lone Bradshaw, Mrs. Leola Bry-lant, Bry-lant, Mrs. Ada Palmer and Miss-'Lola Miss-'Lola Lund. A farewell party was held Sat-urday Sat-urday night at Milt's Stage Stop by a group of friends of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wood who left Sunday Sun-day night for Big Creek, Calif, where they will make their home in the future. Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Baldwin and Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Hirschi were in charge of the affair that included a dinner followed by square dancing. During Dur-ing the evening, Mr. Wood showed show-ed slides he had taken of the beautiful country they are moving mov-ing into. The honored guests were presented with a book as a going go-ing away gift. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wood have been active in the Sixth Ward M I A and Primary. Thirty friends were present at the farewell. Pinochle was played with high scores won by Mrs. Austin Benson, Mrs. Humbert Hum-bert Rosenberg and Mrs. Al Fisher. Fish-er. Mrs. Fisher was also presented present-ed with a going away gift from the club as she has since left for Las Vegas with her family where they will make their home in the future. Special guest to the club was Mrs. J. V. Adams. Mrs. Helen Mathews enter-' enter-' tained her bridge club at her home Wednesday night. Following Follow-ing bridge and a luncheon, prizes were awarded Mrs. Alma Kunz, Mrs. Odessa Gentry and Mrs. Nona Cheevpr won traveling prize. One special guest was present, pres-ent, Mrs. Grace Heap. The younger set was entertained enter-tained Sunday evening when Miss Bonnie Bauer was hostess to a group of girl friends at a chili supper. The occasion was Bonnie's 12th birthday, and after cutting the birthday cake Bonnie took her guests to the show. Mrs. Grant Tucker was hostess host-ess to a delightful birthday party par-ty Friday night in honor of her husband.
