Show Kiwanians Invite Sons to Share Program and Banquet Fifty-four future Kiwanians of Cedar City met with their fathers at a Fathers and Sons' night Monday at Hotel El Escalante to enjoy a program and banquet. The program was courtesy of the sons. In addition to the 54 sons of Kiwanians, two members of the High School Key Club were honored hon-ored guests during the evening. They were Jerry Lee and Clayton Petty, secretary. The Key Club Is a service group at the school sponsored by the Kiwanis. The fathers and sons program included five delightful numbers. Young Michael Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Carter, rendered a j piano solo as did Lee Sherratt, snn nf Mr and Mrs Rut-no Rhnr. ratt. A vocal duet by Rodney and Harlan Felt, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Felt, was thoroughly enjoyed en-joyed by the group. Jackie Crab-tree, Crab-tree, only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crabtree, gave a reading, and little Michael Leavltt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dixie Leavltt, gave a poem. David Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Haymer Morris, opened the meeting with prayer, and Richard Rich-ard Morris, son the Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Morris, accompanied the ctoud in sinpinf? America. In addition to the fine program a new member of the Kiwanis was installed during the evening. Ray Wilson, minister of the Cedar Ce-dar City Presbyterian Church, was given his Kiwanis pin in a short ceremony conducted by Roger Ro-ger Felt. In charge of the program was Frank Fetty, chairman of the education ed-ucation and fellowship committee, commit-tee, and Roger Felt, committeeman. |
