Show Jaycees Ask Support In City Park Planting Program The Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce is completing plans for an extensive planting program at the City Park East of town this fall, and the Jaycee officers are anxious to have the wholehearted wholeheart-ed support of the people of the community in the undertaking. The planting program calls for the planting of trees, shrubs, and grass in the park area, and the Jaycees hope to have all plans completed so that work can start as soon as the baseball and soft-ball soft-ball seasons are over. The park has become an extremely ex-tremely popular recreation area, and its use will increase when the area is more completely developed. de-veloped. The planting program is a vital and important part of the development program. In order to raise funds for the program the Jaycees plan to give away a new automobile at the Southern Utah Livestock Show in September, and they urge everyone every-one to support them as much as possible. |
