Show South Utah Will Be Well Represented In Race Meet at Ely Over a hundred and thirty fast horses are already in line to compete com-pete for the $10,000 in purses at the annual Race Meet and Neva-da Neva-da Fair of Industry at Ely in late August, Race Meet chairman, chair-man, Dan Clark has announc-ed. announc-ed. Most of the horses are from Southern Utah and Idaho, while some are the cream of various Nevada stables. More reservations reserva-tions arrive daily. The Race Meet will be held on August 20-21 and 27-28, with the Nevada Fair of Industry multiplying mul-tiplying interest on the second fireworks will be staged Satur-week Satur-week end. Out-of-state people will enjoy the unique hospitality of Nevada, Neva-da, and many will be interested in the variety of exhibits at the Fair, such as mining and industrial indus-trial displays, Nevada "desert" livestock, crops, flowers and craft products, including Indian work.
