Show Publish Book. Name Judges for Annual livestock Show Here Plans for the ninth annual Southern Utah Livestock Show are going ahead rapidly, with the premium booklet scheduled to come out next week and be : distributed all over the state, according ac-cording to Dr. John Beal, manager man-ager of the show. The advertising is all in for the booklet, and when completed, it will be distributed to county coun-ty agents, FFA groups, 4-Hers, and other potential exhibitors. Lamont E. Tueller, Iron county coun-ty agent, has been checking on entries, and with reports coming in from all over the state, it is predicted that the swine and sheep divisions of the show will be larger than ever, even surpassing sur-passing last year's. Cattle entries, like most other shows, will be down somewhat. Judges for the show, announced announc-ed last night, at r, meeting cf the committee chairmen, are Ma-jor Ma-jor George Henderson, extension cattle and swine specialist for the Utah State Agricultural college, col-lege, who will judge the cattle and swine entries, and Milton Madsen, sheep specialist for the USAC, who will make the plac-ings plac-ings on the sheep exhibits. All junior exhibitors will be required re-quired to show project books this year. The committee is checking to see that all boys and girls have been taking care of the animals for the specified length of time. This is to avoid the possibility of exhibitors showing animals which are not properly qualified under FFA and 4-H club rules. |
