Show Iron, Beaver Plan Joint 4-H Outing The annual outing for the 4-H clubs of Iron and Beaver counties coun-ties will be held next week, August Aug-ust 8, 9 and 10 at the Duck Creek camp on Cedar Mountain, according ac-cording to Lamont E. Tueller, Iron County agert. In attendance for the annual outing will be David Sharp, Jr., state 4-H club leader; Fern Shipley, Ship-ley, state assistant leader, and W. E. Tangren, nature study and camping specialist During the outing, 4-Hers will will conduct campfire programs, handicraft activities, hikes, nature na-ture studies, log sawing contests con-tests and the usual games. Contests Con-tests will be held- during the campflres, with each club presenting pre-senting a program. Awards at the camp will be given for the best program, clean camp, and the making up of an original 4-H song. . |
