Show BflC Track Team Begins Training For Spring Meets Murray Maughan, Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college track and field coach, has a promising group of thin-clads working out daily in preparation for four important meets in which the Bronco school will participate this spring. The Broncos will get their first taste of competition on April 9, in a meet at St. George, which replaces the college's participation participa-tion In the traditional HUrricane Invitational meet. On May C a BAC invitational meet will be held In Cedar City. This meet will replace trie usual BACDIxle dual meet, and teams from Snow, Westminster, Carbon and probably Arizona State Teachers from Flagstaff, Arizona will be invited to participate. The Intermountaln Collegiate Athletic Conference meet will be held on the BAC field on May 13, with Boise, Ricks, Albion, Weber, We-ber, Westminster, Carbon, Snow, BAC and Dixie participating. On April 22 and 23 the Bronco squad will participate in the BYU Invitational meet at. Provo. With the Broncos having completely com-pletely dominated track and field activities In the conference during dur-ing the past two years, the 1949 squad has a job cut out for it, and the members of the squad are working hard to round into shape and build up another powerful-team.
