Show Local Cattlemen Show Interest In Ogden Hereford Sale Much interest is being shown In the forthcoming Hereford Sale to be conducted by Peterson Bros, of Ogden, Utah at their home ranch, 4 miles southwest of Ogden, Og-den, on March 25. Very frequent p re-sale visits are being made by livestock men of the west to look over the Peterson offering. Among the recent visitors were E. J. FJelsted, secretary of the Ogden Chamber of Commerce Com-merce and manager of the Og den Livestock Show; J. O. Read, secretary of the Intermountain Hereford Breeders Association; Dick Albright, manager of the Ogden Union Stockyards, and Reno Banks who was formerly with the American Hereford Breeders Association. These men voiced high approval approv-al of the livestock which will be offered by the Petersons. Mr. FJelsted stated that it was one of the finest offerings that he had- ever seen In the western area. Mr. Banks said that he marveled at the progress that had been made in recent years in the production of Herefords in the western states, and said that the cattle to be offered in the Peterson sale were among the tops of the western area. The Peterson Bros, have enlarged en-larged their offering over that of previous years so that all who attend may have an opportunity to choose a bull or female of their liking at the price they would like to pay. They have also graded them carefully with the thought of building future I prestige among the livestock men 'of Western America. |
