Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Olfice of the City Recorder Cedar City, Utah Notice is hereby given that Cedar City Corporation, hereinafter herein-after referred to as the "owner" will receive sealed bids up to 4:00 P. M. on the 21st day of April, Ap-ril, 1919, for the award of contract con-tract for furnishing all labor and material in connection with constructing con-structing curb and gutter and sidewalk and necessary appurtenances appurt-enances in curb and gutter and sidewalk, District No. 1. Bids will he received on sections 1 and 2. Contractor may bid on one or more of the said sections. SECTION 1 Approximate 15237 linear feet, curb and gutter. Approximate 11782 linear feet, .1 foot wide sidewalk. Approximate 110-1 linear feet, 5 foot wide sidewalk. SECTION 2 Approximate 15914 linear feet, curb and gutter. Approximate 11589 linear feet, 4 foot wide sidewalk. The Improvement located within with-in the Incorporated limits of Cedar City, Utah. Such bids will be received In the office of the City Keeorder, located In the city and county building In said city and will be opened and publicly read aloud at the alovc stated time in the court room in said building. Each bid must conform to and be responsive to this invitation, the Instructions to Bidders, the Plans and Specifications, and all other instruments comprising the pertinent contract documents. Copies of the contract documents are now on file and open to public pub-lic inspection in the office of the City Engineer of Cedar City, located in the City and County building at Cedar City. Copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained at the aforementioned aforemen-tioned place by depositing $15.00 for each set. This deposit will be refunded If the plans and specifications spe-cifications are returned In good condition within 5 days after date of bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the owner, or a satisfactory sat-isfactory bid bond In favor of the owner executed by the Bidder Bid-der as principal and a satisfactory satisfac-tory surety company as surety, in an amount not less than five per 'cent of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the Contract If It is awarded to him In conformity with the Contract Documents and shall provide the surety bond as specified therein within five (5) days after notification of the award of the contract Each bid shall be made out on a bid form to be obtained from the office of the City Engineer, Cedar City, Utah. The Owner reserved the privilege pri-vilege of rejecting any and all bidior to waive any irregularities irregulari-ties or Informalities in any bid or in the bidding. .
