Show Plans Completed ior Cedar Jaycee-Ettes' Annual Fashion Show The fourth annual Jaycee-Ette fashion show with the theme of "Spring Wedding", will be held this Friday evening at 7:30 p. m. in the First ward recreation hall. Wedding dresses dating back to 1890 will bo" on display during dur-ing the show. A hand made quilt will he given away to one of the ladies attending. The wedding dresses that will be displayed are: Mrs. Charles Parrish's. 1890; Mrs. Rosanna Lunfs, 1891; Mrs. Edward Pal-mer's Pal-mer's 1897; Mrs. Frank Petty's, 1900; Mrs. Both Leigh's, 1915, and Mrs. Clara Knell's, 1932. Cedar City stores cooperating with the Jaycee-Ettes In bringing bring-ing the latest fashions to the show are: Moderne Style Shoppe, Prlscilla Dress Shop, J. C. Penney Co., Taylor's Dress Shop, Mode O'Day Frock Shop, and the Mary Palmer Shop. Tickets have been on sale for the past two weeks, and accommodations accom-modations have been made for 300 people. Refreshments will be served at small tables after which 30 local models will display dis-play the latest spring and summer sum-mer styles. A new twist this year is that men will be attending the show. The men in the audience will pick out their favorite model and present her with a corsage. Mrs. Dee Cowan is the general gener-al chairman of the show, and Mrs. Max Lunt will be the fash-Ion fash-Ion commentator. Other committee commit-tee members are : Mrs. Francis Betenson, tickets; Mrs. Whitney Jensen and Mrs. Milton Sevy, decorations; Mrs. Glen Muray, entertainment; Mrs. Charles Ahl-strom, Ahl-strom, president of the Jaycee-Ettes, Jaycee-Ettes, publicity; Mrs. Herschell Urle and Mrs. Roy Batty, miscellaneous miscel-laneous items. |
