The victories put the Redmen very much In the race for the district title and a berth In the state tournament since Hurricane won a one point, overtime over-time thriller from Parowan to Jumble Jum-ble the race and throw the outcome Into doubt until the final games next week end. Coach Quill Allen's Redmen tangle with the fast traveling Har cane team Saturday night, wlU? Parowan makes the tough trip o.e. the, mountain to meet Kanab Fr.-day Fr.-day and Valley Saturday. A loss to either of the Kane county teams by Parowan and a victory over Hurricane Hur-ricane by Cedar will put the two Iron county teams In a tie, with the district title to be decided when Cedar and Parowan meet next week. The runner-up In this district will meet the runner-up In Millard Mil-lard district for a place in the state meet, thus with two teams having a chance to go to the state tourney the battle between Cedar, Hurricane and Parowan, will provide pro-vide the hottest stretch race sen in the district for many years. The Redmen had very little difficulty dif-ficulty In walloping their rival, from St. George Friday, Allen's team Jumping Into an early lead and leaving no doubt as to the ultimate ul-timate winner. The batUe at Enterprise En-terprise was close during the first half, but the Redmen pulled away handily after the halftlme rest. The Parowan-Hurrlcane game was extremely close from beginning begin-ning to end, with the score tied at 29 29 at the end of the regulation playing time. In the extra period Hurricane scored 3 points to Par-owan's Par-owan's 2 to win 32 to 31. In other games of the week Hurricane tripped trip-ped Valley 39 to 30, and Kanab lost two games, to Enterprise 41 to 30 and to Dixie 49 to 43.
