Show Cedar Men Complete Distribution of Spanish Trail Signs Gustive O. Larson and Loran Hirschi returned to Cedar City last week end after completing distribution of markers on the old Spanish Trail between Cedar City and Los Angeles. Calif. During the past few weeks, similar markers had been distributed dis-tributed along that part of the trail between Santa Fe, N. M. and. Cedar City. Every community along the trail between here and Los Angeles An-geles responded cordially to tne marking project and bought one or more of the markers, according accord-ing to Mr. Hirschi and Mr. Larson. Lar-son. These will be erected at a designated time to be announced in the future. The chambers of commerce in the larger cities were especially cooperative, according to the twe men, but church officials and town boards in smaller communities com-munities accepted the markers all along the trail. This trail follows fol-lows down the Santa Clara creek from Mountain Meadows and roughly along U. S. Highway 91 into Los Angeles. |
