Show NEWCASTLE Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Thornton of Provo were visitors in town last week end. Mr. Thornton, an old resident of Pinto, was here for the purpose of interviewing those interested in erecting a marker for the spot where the old school house stood. The marker would be made from some of the rock frorn the old building, and would be topped by the old school house bell. Mary Lou Hall and son Roger are here spending their summer vacation with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hart, parents of Mrs. Hall. Mrs. Hall now resides in Los Angeles, California. - Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Thompson Thomp-son of Circleville were visitors for a few hours Saturday at the home of R. M. Gillies, who is a brother of Mrs. Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Christen- sen have gone to Salt Lake City to attend a turkey association meeting. Mr. Christensen is pres-ident pres-ident of the organization. |
