Show Inductees Leave For Exams; 10 More Are Due First inductees from the local draft board left Cedar City this I morning for Fort Douglas, where they will undergo their physical! examinations tomorrow. In addition 10 more notices for men to report for physical examinations were sent out this week by the board. These men will report for their exams on August 23. The 10 men who are receiving their notices this week are: Ward Middleton, Andrew Lee Morlensen, Joseph Robert Mell-ing, Mell-ing, Elwood Thomas Bladen, Louis Keith Ence, Garth Barney, Delton J. Bettrldge and David Allen Lunt, all of Cedar City; Clarence Benson, Jr., Parowan, and Dale Chrlstensen, Kanarra. All of the 10 men receiving the call for physical examination were born in 1928. Paul Roberts, Cedar City, re-Dlaced re-Dlaced Kent Hovt on the list of five men who left this morning. Hoyt was reclassified due to his recent marriage. Registrants who receive their notices, according to E. B. Dalley, Dal-ley, clerk of the local board should understand that the physical phy-sical exams are not given in Cedar Ce-dar City. However, the men do report to the local board and are furnished transportation and meals to Fort Douglas, where the exams are held. Any change In draft status, such as marriage, dependencies or change of address should be promptly reported to the Select-ivo Select-ivo Service Board, warns Mr. Dalley. Already serious mistakes and difficulties are arising due to negligence on the part of the legistrants. Technically, registrants have a legal time-limit of 10 days in which to appeal for draft classl-ficatlon classl-ficatlon changes resulting from marriage status and dependency changes. However, changes are being made now by all boards in the state and registrants are urged to report their changes immediately. In case of a speedup speed-up of the draft procedure, late appeals would not necessarily have to be granted.
