Show Prominent Cedar Lumber Man Claimed By Death John R. Jensen, 45, 373 North 100 East, Cedar City, prominent southern Utah lumberman and saw mill operator, died at the local hospital Tuesday morning following a lingering illness. He had operated a saw mill on the Mammoth creek for several years and was a lifetime resident of Cedar City. He was a member of the LDS church. Mr. Jensen was born April 12, 1903, a son of Heber C. and Laura Wood Jensen. He married Margaret Marg-aret Skinner of Beaver, February 16, 1927. Jensen (Continued from Page one) are four sons and daughters, Pcgy E., John II., Mary Kathleen and Allan Ray; a sister, Mrs. Von Hlgbee, and two brothers, Oliver C. and Kimball Jensen, all of Cedar Ce-dar City. One son, Hcber Charles preceded Mr. Jensen In death. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed today at 2 p.m. in the Cedar City First ward I.DS church, bishop bish-op Henry P. Dotson, officiating. Funeral arrangements were under un-der the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuary. |
