Show JEERED AT THE SOLDIERS. Six Small Boys Put in the Colorado Bull Pen. Denver. Nov. 23. A special to the News from Victor, Coin., says six young boys were arrested and taken to the "bud pen" today for jeering at the troops. Thoy were all released later, but their parents were warned that they must be kept off -the streets in the future. It is said that when the soldiers went to the home of Mrs. Dodsworth. Whose husband. William Dodsworth, was president presi-dent of the local miners' union until three days ago, when he was killed by a mine actident. and tried to arrest her son she drove them away with a revolver. Eighteen men are now in the bull pen suspected of complicity in the blowing Up of the Vindicator mine Friday night, when two men were killed. Governor Peabody today ordered that they be turned over to the civil authorities" authori-ties" This will be done tomorrow. The coroner's inquest in the case of Mc-I Mc-I Cormick and Heck, the men killed in ths Vindicator, mine explosion, will be held I tomorrow. It is said that some very sen-j sen-j sational evidence will be produced. |
