The general also stated that infernal machines ma-chines ready to be exploded had been found in two other, mines, and that there was positive evidence that the plot included in-cluded five mines in all. He expressed the opinion that the explosion in tho Vindicator occurred before the perp -tratnr? intended, as most of the troops were on outgoing: trains, but had not started when it occurred. |
