Show Immunization Clinii Set Here March II A special clinic to administer HiB (Haemophilus influenza type B) vaccinations will take place March 11 at the Public Health Office in Panguitch. HiB is a serious childhood illness, like polio, mumps, and measles. A new vaccine, now available to fight the illness, will be administered on Tuesday, with a statewide goal of vaccinating all two-year-olds in the state. HiB, says the Southwest Utah District Health Department, is the leading cause of bacterial meningitis, primarily among children under five years of age.
