Show Henrieville Native Promoted to Major HENRIEVILLE Harry S. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. j Thorley Johnson of Henrieville, has i been promoted to the rank of major I in the U.S. Air Force. 1 1 ; I J Johnson is currently the chief of III social actions with the 21st Tactical I I Fighter Wing at Elmendorf Air j Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. ! i While serving in Kadena Air i Force Base, Okinawa, Japan, Johnson was named the equal opportunity op-portunity and treatment officer of i the year for the Pacific Air Force. During that same year, he was also awarded the Commendation Medal ' (first Oak Leaf Ouster) for meritorious service. Major Johnson was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, the twelfth highest medal that can be earned by a member of the U.S. Air Force. The 1968 graduate of Bryce Valley High School in Tropic where he was student body president, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Utah State College and a Master of Arts in psychology from Pepperdine University at Malibu, Calif.
