The Ursel Otts had daughters Beth and Gail visit with them and help them celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair attended at-tended the International Date Festival in Indio, California, went whale watching and visited several spots of interest in California and ! Nevada, before returning home, as members of a tour group. The round robin drew several Bryce Valley supporters to Pangutich, to cheer the local high school ball team on. Her daughter left Reginald as the last remaining family member. She died Feb. 18 in Provo. Ora Brinkerhoff and Amplus LeFevre visited in Beaver with Ora's daughter Rose and family. VerDella Nielson and Minnie Nielson were in Ogden for Verdella I to have a medical checkup, j Violet Littlefield and daughter Christine Littlefield were in Richfield Rich-field on Saturday. During the week j Mr. and Mrs. Ray Littlefield were in ' Cedar City for eye appointments. Mary Ott spent a few days with daughter Kathy Davis and family in Toquerville. The Lester Clarkes enjoyed a I I weekend visit from Mr. and Mrs. j' Rick Evans, Spanish Fork. The George Wilsons had daughter Connie Robinson home for a few days visit. Pauline and Marian, daughters of the Larvin Pollocks, were home for the weekend. Marian's husband, Blake Allen, joined them. Colleen Richardson spent the weekend with her sister Kathleen. It was good to see LuElla Mangum out to church, she has been confined to her home for several months. Babies blessed in church were Elisa Ann Madsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Madsen who was given her name by her grandfather, Reed LeFevre; Nickie Nackole Bogar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shane Bogar was given her name by her grandfather Edward Bogar; Kindra Lynn Shakespear, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevan Shakespear, was given her name by her uncle John Heaton. Visiting with the Reed LeFevres were Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Madsen, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Eddy and children. Mr. and Mrs. Jody Heaton and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Heaton and Mr. and Mrs. John Heaton, Springdale visited with the Kevan Shakespears. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Shakespear and daughter Melissa visited with Keven and Kay and with Ora Brinkerhoff. LaMar LeFevre attended the Five County Economic Development meeting in St. George as a member of the committee and representing Garfield county. Vickie Syrett had son AlanjSch-mitt AlanjSch-mitt home for a few days visit.- Craig Bybee and Gale Pollock were home from college for the weekend. Joanne Mecham had her father and wife come to visit and get acquainted with their new grandson. The new Library assistants are Mr. and Mrs. Garn Haycock. Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Castro had friends spend the weekend with them. The Boy Scout Troop Committee has been completed. Fred Syrett is chairman; Ferrell Brinkerhoff, treasurer; Paul Mangum, transportation tran-sportation chairman; Arthur Syrett, membership chairman and Margaret Shakespear, advancement advan-cement chairman. Mr. and Mrs. MonDell Syrett attended REA meetings for Garkane Power in Las Vegas this past weekend. Roxie Chynoweth spent a few days in Tropic at son Gene's home. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore were overnight visitors at the Matland Baugh home. Keela Mangum took aunt Ruby Moore to Cedar City for a medical checkup on her hip. She will go on into Salt Lake City at a later date for surgery at the University Hospital. Plans are being made to take interested senior citizens to Provo to see the Ramses II show. Interested persons should make reservations as soon as possible with Ella Adair, as van space is limited. |
