Show Bryce Star To Play Ball In Australia TROPIC Brady Syrett, a May graduate of Bryce Valley High School in Tropic, will travel to Australia and New Zealand in this July's Utah High School All-Star basketball team. Twenty young players, 10 of whom are 17 and older and the rest under 17. The older boys will make up the varsity team and the younger the junior varsity. They will be accompanied on the trip by four coaches and a manager. Games will be played in Auckland, Auck-land, Christchurch, Dunedin, Inver-cargil Inver-cargil and Gore, New Zealand and in Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia. The teams will spend two days in Hawaii on their way home. Syrett will leave July 6 to practice prac-tice for three days at Murray High School in Salt Lake City and will depart from there July 10 for New Zealand. The tour will take three weeks. Syrett will attend Southern Utah State College in the fall. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. MonDell Syrett of Tropic and a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Syrett of Bryce and Mr. and Mrs. Royal Alvey of Tropic.
