Show Mimony By Betty Wiley Marge and Leland Robinson went to Washington State to get some of their mares. The Gary Jansens went to Ogden and Salt Lake City where Beverly had a brace put on her leg and knee. LaRell Roberts is here visiting with his parents. Ilene Roberts and girls attended a baby shower at Marie Jensens in Circleville for Cindy Roberts Winter. On Monday Garth Roberts went to Panguitch to the doctor for a checkup. Jane Wiley was in Provo for a doctor checkup on Wednesday. The Rockin' "R" had two large groups for their youth conferences during the week with a speaker on Friday night. Their stake president Jon Huntsman is to be the speaker. The youth groups were on hay rides with two wagons. Many were tubing on the river or enjoying the lake. The Barney Chambers have moved from here to Circleville and have purchased the Bill Horton house. Doctor Bob Wilson and wife Freddie have been here working and went on the cattle drive. They camped on the mountain with some of the cattlemen. The Ward Budget Fair was a success and a large crowd attended the dinner as well as the fair. Mona Black made a trip to Provo and Salt Lake on the weekend for supplies for their business. Robert and Connie Hoggart are new owners of the Antimony Merc. Connie and her daughter Sandi entertained at the ward supper last week. Phyllis Bridges, former resident of Angle, passed away in Kanab. She has been living in Glendale. Her daughter Linda lives in Glendale. Glen-dale. The Six County Organization held their monthly meeting at the Otter Creek Park at which time they honored Basil Lay, Piute County Commissioner for 24 years and is retiring at the end of this year. Over 85 people attended the dinner which was catered by Viola Buchanan from Wayne County. |
