Show V flREfi OBITUARIES " Mary S. Sawyer HATCH Mary Stratton Sawyer, 84, Hatch, died June 26, 1988, in a Panguitch hospital. She was born Feb. 7, 1904, Virgin, to James Albert and Clara Virginia Wright Stratton. She was married to Arthur Sawyer, June 22, 1922, St. George LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church and served in Relief Society and Primary. Survivors: husband, Hatch; children, Lyle, Dalton, Deral, all Panguitch; Vonee Roundy, Hatch; Van, Orem; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, sis-ters, Tom, Leslie, Kenneth, all Hurricane; Hattie Wilson, La Verkin. Funeral services were Wednesday Wednes-day in the Hatch LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Craig Barney, officiating. Brian Sawyer offered the family prayer; Noreen Evans played prelude and postlude music and Lyle Sawyer offered the invocation. A tribute was by Lyle Sawyer and speaker was Layton Bamey. Remarks were by Bishop Craig Barney. Music included selections by the Hatch Ward Choir and vocal duet by Debra Frandsen and Barbara George F.Daly George F. Daly, 91, formerly of Salt Lake City, died June 24, 1988, in Lincoln, Neb. He was born April 19, 1897, Panguitch, to James I. and Ellen Riding Daly. He was preceded in death by four wives, Alta Owens, 1918; Mary Ellen Martin, 1922; Gwendolyn Proctor, 1927; Eva DeanJudd, 1972. He served in the Southern States LDS Mission, 1919-21. He was a barber in Panguitch and later in Salt Lake City. He became a building inspector for Salt Lake County until retirement in 1967. Survivors: daughters, son, Dot Gardner, Lakewood, Calif.; Leah M. Daly, Salt Lake City; Ronald T. Daly, Fairfax, Va.; 15 grandchildren; grand-children; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Joseph LDS Ward chapel with Bishop John Bergum, officiating. Ronald T. Interment was in the Joseph Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where RonaTd R. Daly offered the dedicatory dedica-tory prayer. Pallbearers were Arnold Langton, Gerald Langton, Gary Bottomfield, Ron Daly, Jr., John Michael Daly and Dave Hendrick-son. Hendrick-son. Honorary pallbearers were Richard S. Daly and Robert Bottomfield. Hcaton. Garland Sawyer offered the benediction. Interment was in the Hatch Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Rick Sawyer offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Dalven Sawyer, Deral Sawyer, Van Sawyer, Arlin Sawyer, Alan Sawyer and Terry Roundy.
