Show Accident at Race Track Claims Jockey A 47-year-old Kingman, Ariz., man was killed Friday afternoon at the Panguitch Race Track while he was exercising a horse. Robert Donald Wall, died about 6 p.m., according to a Panguitch City Police Dept. spokesman. Cause of death has not been determined. Witnesses, who were some distance from the site where Mr. Wall died, said it appeared the horse he was riding stumbled, or that Mr. Wall fell off. He suffered head and neck injuries. Emergency medical technicans, called to .the scene, administered aid to Mr. Wall and he was transported to Garfield Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Mr. Wall had been employed as a trainer in the area by several local horse owners. One of the races in Saturday's race meet will be named as an honor memorial for Mr, Wall. |
