Show Use Job Service for working in Kuwait The United States Departments of Labor and Commerce are advising people seeking job opportunities in connection with the rebuilding of Kuwait to contact local Job Service offices to apply for these jobs, according accor-ding to JoAnne Campbell, public information officer. While job opportunities may develop in the next few months, no information infor-mation or job listings have been made available to the department at this time for any actual job openings in Kuwait. The Departments of Labor and Commerce are expected to encourage employers who may eventually have job opportunities in Kuwait to list those opportunities with state Job Service offices, but companies are not required to do so. State Job Service offices also have been encouraged to place any reconstruction job listings they receive on the nationwide Interstate In-terstate job bank. Campbell notes that, while no Gulf reconstruction job listings have yet been received by Utah Job Service, the department will be pleased to register all job seekers and will move quickly on any Kuwait-related job orders received as events unfold.
