Show Doctors habits Doctors' personal health habits don't always measure up to the recommendations rec-ommendations widely known to reduce disease and injury, a UCLA study has shown. Research found that 50 percent of doctors don't have a personal physician of their own; more than 50 percent aren't immunized against hepatitis, pneumonia or the flu; 1 1 percent drink alcohol every day; 20 percent don't exercise; 12 percent never use seat belts (or only use them occasionally) and 50 percent per-cent of women doctors don't do monthly self breast exams. |
