Show Telos Corporation awarded contract BOUNTIFUL Telos Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Contel Federal Systems, announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide systems and software engineering support for the U.S. Army's Communications, command and control systems at Ft. Monmouth, N.J. The one-year contract with four one-year options is valued at $78.8 million and was awarded by the Army's Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) located at Ft. Monmouth. Telos has been supporting Mission Critical Defense Systems of the Army since 1983 under two previous contracts. This latest contract con-tract continues similar Telos support to the CECOM Center for Software Engineering in such areas as Command and Control Systems, Advanced Software Technology and the Army Interoperability In-teroperability Network, among others. Telos Corporation, founded in 1969, is a diversified provider of software and computer-related hardware services to both government and commercial customers. The Telos Field Engineering Division of the firm is headquartered in Bountiful. Telos became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Contel Federal Systems in February and is independently operated |
