Show Students involved in Christmas projects By B. CASH Student Reporter . Mueller Park Jr. High Everyone's excited at Mueller Park Junior High, because of the Christmas season. We are doing a lot of fund raisers, food drives and clothing donations for Help-for-Santa- Each classroom has a box to put donations do-nations in. Dec. 10 through the 14, were boys basketball try-outs. try-outs. Over 130 people tried out. Coach McCleary had to pick 16 of them. I'm sure it was a very tough decision. deci-sion. The people who made the team are Bob Moore, Matt Jacobs, Jeff Child, Ben Moore, Thad Weyland, Scott Denning, Brandt Kuchne, Cory Irwin, Terry Rose, Mark Tew, Seth Neuenschwander, Brady Boardman, Nathan Burt, Chris Barnes and Whit Johnson. The managers are Kevin Catoe, Jeff Mulitalo and Jeff Rigby. Our girls basketball season just ended with a loss to Kaysville Junior High in the first round of the single elimination tournament. On Dec. 14, we had a special assembly. Kim, who was the inspiration for the movie "Rainman," came. We got to learn a little about him and then we were able to ask him a few questions. It went very well. On Dec. 18, the orchestra and choirs presented a special Christmas Conceit. Everyone is excited for Christmas vacation, so they're very restless. Our vacation goes from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2. Let's hope that by the time our vacation is over, everyone will have settled down. |
