Show SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 90-22 AMENDING THE MOBILE HOME PROVISIONS AND ENACTING MANUFACTURED HOME AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PROVISIONS PROVI-SIONS OF TITLE 17, "PLANNING AND ZONING". WHEREAS, the mobile home provisions provi-sions of Title 17, "Planning and Zoning", Zon-ing", need to be revised and manufactured manufac-tured home provisions and recreational vehicle provisions are needed; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF KAYSVILLE CITY, UTAH: 1. Section 17-2-2, "Definitions," of Chapter 17-2, "Definitions", of Tide 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Re-vised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to delete the definitions defini-tions of Mobile Home, Mobile Home Park, Travel Trailer, and Travel Trailer Park and to enact new definitions of Manufactured Home, Manufactured Home Park, Manufactured Home Subdivision, Sub-division, Mobile Home, Recreational Vehicle, and Recreational Vehicle Park. 2. Section 17-13-5, "Conditional Uses", of Chapter 17-13, "R-2 One and Two Family Residential District", of Tide 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to add a new subsection 17-13-5( 15) making Manufactured Home Subdivisions a conditional use in the R-2 Zone. 3. Section 17-15-5, "Conditional Uses", of Chapter 17-15, "R-3 One to Four Family Residential District", of Tide 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to add a new subsection subsec-tion 17-15-5(15) making Manufactured Home Subdivisions a conditional use in the R-3 zone. 4. Section 17-16-5, "Conditional Uses", of Chapter 17-16, "R-4 Multi-Family Multi-Family Residential District", of Title 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Re-vised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to add a new subsection subsec-tion 17-16-5(16) making Manufactured Home Subdivisions a conditional use in the R-4 zone. 5. Chapter 17-18, "MHP - Mobile Home Park Overlay District" of Tide 17, "Planning and Zoning" of the Revised Re-vised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is repealed and deleted, and the chapter reserved. 6. Section 17-19-5, "Conditional Uses", of Chapter 17-19, "GC - Gen- eral Commercial utstnet , or uiapter 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Re-vised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to add a new Subsection Subsec-tion 17-19-5(12) making Manufactured Home Parks a conditional use in the GC zone. 7. Subsection 17-19-5(7) of Section 17-19-5, "Conditional Uses", of Chapter 19, "GC - General Commercial Commer-cial District", of Tide 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Ordinances Or-dinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to read as follows: (7) Recreational Vehicle Parks subject to the requirements re-quirements of Section 17-31- 8. Chapter 17-27, "Mobile Homes, Travel Trailers, and Mobile Home Parks", of Title 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Ordinances of Kaysvilie City, 1989, is amended to include manufactured homes. 9. Chapter 17-31, "Special Provisions Provi-sions Applying to Particular Uses", of Title f7, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Ordinances of Kaysvilie Kays-vilie City, 1989, is amended to add a new Section 17-31-23 entitled, "Recreational Vehicles", setting forth for-th criteria. 10. Chapter 17-31, "Special Provisions Provi-sions Applying to Particular Uses", of Title 17, "Planning and Zoning", of the Revised Ordinances of Kaysvilie Kays-vilie City, 1989, is amended to add a new Section 17-31-24 entitled, "Recreational Vehicle Parks", setting set-ting forth criteria. 11. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the date of publication of a summary thereof, one time only, in the Clipper. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 1990.
