Show Happy New Year! WX Festival of Trees a success There is still a Wildcat of the Week this week, even though we're not in schooL See, the Wildcat of 'Cat ifSt tCha3ft the Week is actually always the Wildcat of last week. It's all very complicated just another facet of the hectic world we live in, I suppose. Anyway, the Wildcat of last week was Margaret Gilmore. Her favorite thing about WX is her friends and her favorite class is math. In her spare time, Margaret likes to read and listen to the radio. She also likes to sew and do ceramics. ce-ramics. Congratulations, Margaret! Enjoy Christmas break while you can because, like all good things, it can't last forever. That interesting experience we call school will recommence on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Have a great time ringing in the new year, but remember: Don't drink and drive. By KIM WOODBURY We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! We all love our figgy pudding... Just kidding, I won't do the hated Figgy Verse. But seriously, I hope that you had "Simply The Best" Christmas ever and that it was everything that Christmas should be. A enormous thank you is given to all the organizations who participated par-ticipated in the WX Festival of Trees last week. First place went to those Jammin ' Juniors, second place to the Still Superior Seniors and third to our "Udderly" wonderful cheerleaders. All the trees were absolutely beautiful and really enhanced the yuletide spirit in our school. At the end of the week, each tree was given to a needy family. We appreciate appre-ciate all the time and effort spent, and those families do also. The Festival Fes-tival of Trees is just another reason why WX is "Simply The Best"l Now, I know that the last thing you want to think about over Christmas vacation is coming to school, but you definitely will want to be here on Saturday. There is a men's basketball game here against Layton at 7:30. Come and see the one and only Mike Gurr live in action! |
