Show Services held for Mr. Harrison Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Wheeler Mortuary Mor-tuary Chapel for George B. Harrison, 78, of Pinedale, Wyo., and former Springville resident who died June 1, 1969 at a Rock Springs, Wyoming hospital hospi-tal . Burial was in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. He was born Sept. 9, 1890, at Springville, a son of George W. and Ada Bissell Harrison. He married Alta Crandall on July 8, 1914 at Provo. She died in 1922. He then married Betty Davis on Aug. 16, 1929. He was a member of the LDS Church. Was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as a fireman and engineer for 45 years. Following his marriage they lived in Salt Lake City until his retirement in 1955, when he moved to Pinedale,, Wyo. Surviving are his widow of Pinedale, and two sons, Dr. George Myron Harrison, Rock Springs, Wyo., and Howard B. Harrison of Salt Lake City; 9 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; grand-children; three brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Barney (Ada) Krause, Leon Harrison, Mrs. Arvilla Carter, Milton B. Harrison Har-rison and Mrs. Helen Meason, all of Springville; Mrs. Glen (Arlena) Holley of Mapleton; and Robert B. Harrison of Lorenzo, Lo-renzo, Calif. |
